Of course, visitors have been able to share images for a while on the DigitalBasics Facebook Wall but I understand that Facebook isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Essential Steps...

Read through this page and the Submission Guidelines;

Resize your image so that it is no larger than 800x600 pixels (if you resize it to 400px along the longest dimension, your metadata will remain intact);

Use the Submission Form to share your image(s);

In the form's Description field, I'd love you to tell us why you want to share it. Behind most photographs, there's a story...tell us all about it!

Top Tip to Retain Your Metadata...

Metadata is additional information attached to your photographs, such as Author and Copyright details (see below).

Attaching metadata to your work can help protect your photographs online and reduce the risk of them being used without your permission.

If you would like your metadata to remain intact* simply follow these steps:

Use the Free Photo Sharing Photoshop Action I've made for you to prepare your photograph to the correct specifications;

If you don't use Photoshop, simply make sure you resize your image so that the longest dimension is 400px exactly.

Need to Edit Your Photographs?

Do you need to crop, resize, edit or rotate your photographs before entering my free photography contests?

For example, the digital photograph(s) you submit must be no larger than 800x600 pixels.

If you're a Photoshop user, you'll be pleased to know that I've created a FREE Photoshop Action to help you prepare your submission.

If you don't own Adobe Photoshop, why not try a free online service such as Creative Kit at Google+?
