Welcome to The Winners' Gallery, the home to previous winners of my free photography contests.

How it works...

Each contest runs on this site for eight to ten weeks and the winners are announced two weeks later in my free monthly newsletter, DigitalBasics.

The first contest I launched in May 2011 became so successful that I soon realised I wanted you, my visitors, to have a say in the judging process too!

Therefore, as soon as possible after each deadline, I compile The Shortlist and publish it right here on my site in readiness for The People's Vote.

It's simple!

The image with the most votes wins The People's Vote and the overall winner is either decided by me or by a guest judge.
